Gamma is a leading supplier of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS): we provide voice, data and mobile products and services to the UK, German, Spanish and Benelux business markets.

Gamma is expanding its UCaaS presence in Europe with a family of businesses focusing on digital automation, delivering Gamma-powered services to SME customers via a network of channel partners in Germany, Spain, and the Benelux region.

Who are we looking for?  :eyes:

 

We are seeking a 3rd Line IT Administrator to join our growing team here at Gamma. In this role you will be the final escalation point for incidents and requests, performing root cause analysis and providing expert 3rd line support. The IT Service Desk supports the corporate IT function in Gamma, ensuring end-to-end accountability of IT support for users, their EUC (laptops/RDS), applications, and office hardware (meeting rooms, printers, door access/CCTV).

 

What will you be doing day-to-day? :rocket:

 

  • Providing 3rd line IT support for escalations from 1st and 2nd line IT Support, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues
  • Monitoring, MSO response, alert management, and reporting of Corporate IT infrastructure to maintain optimal performance and availability
  • Conducting root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues, preventing recurrence
  • Sharing knowledge and performing technical handovers to ensure seamless transitions and continuous improvement within the team
  • Patching remediation and analysis to maintain system security and compliance
  • Providing out-of-hours on-call support on a rota basis to ensure continuous IT support availability
  • Facilitating audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
  • Managing SSL certificates to ensure secure communications and data protection

 

What you’ll need :hammer_and_wrench:

 

  • GCSE Grade C or above in English, Maths and Science or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting a large-scale enterprise environment
  • Modern Windows client and server OS Support
  • MS Office troubleshooting skills · Problem solving
  • Patch management and remediation (Ideally Ivanti Shavlik)
  • Device management with Microsoft Intune
  • Azure RDS
  • M365 Management - Email, Teams, OneDrive
