Corporate Social Responsibility Manager
We have an amazing opportunity for a CSR Implementation Manager to join our team!
What you’ll be doing…
You will be responsible for driving effective implementation of CSR activity within the business, implementing ethical and environmentally friendly practices through a collaborative approach with operational teams and wider support functions. Driving Elior’s ambition to be the food service partner of choice for sustainability.
Key Role Accountabilities:
- Develop and implement strategies and action plans with operational teams, to ensure continual improvement in the areas of sustainability and social value.
- Driving central CSR strategy actions throughout the business, driving greater engagement in CSR activity within our sites.
- Work in collaboration with business development teams to support the development and presentation of compelling sales bids.
- Leading on elements of the central CSR project plan, ensuring the business is operating in accordance with our objectives, guidelines, and targets.
- Contribute to CPD for the team and key stakeholders, with a focus on the impact of emerging sustainability and social value issues.
- Take a leading role with the divisional senior management teams as appropriate to align the central CSR strategies and sector targets.
- Contribute to building measurement tools for our clients to quantify the environmental and social impact of our services.
- Contribute to the reporting of performance and sustainability initiatives to the senior management team.
- A focus on data collection in collaboration with the wider CSR team for monthly and annual reporting, quantifying our impacts in support of our clients’ sustainability agenda.
- Collaborative working with the operations teams, offering support and guidance where required.
- Reinforce the CSR policies and initiatives of the company through internal communications.
- Utilise social media where appropriate to contribute to external communications and celebrating success.
- Act as an ambassador of CSR to help enhance the culture of sustainability and social value across the business.
- Provide first line support to our operations teams to help them to navigate and implement CSR initiatives.
- Liaise with operations to build case studies, helping to share and encourage best practice across the various sectors.
- Help to coordinate initiatives such as community and charity activities.
- Management of 1 team member, ensuring a leadership style of management that is motivating and inspiring, with a focus on personal development and growth.
What can you bring?
- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant environmental legislation.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate sustainability & social value programmes effectively, both internally and to our clients and customers.
- Problem solving abilities, recognise emerging problems and proactively develop solutions to resolve challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, delegating where appropriate with ability to meet deadlines set.
- Excellent presentation skills – written and verbal.
- Team player, professional and pragmatic.
- Proficient on Word, Excel and PowerPoint
