Purchasing Coordinator
Join Elior as a Purchasing Coordinator, where you'll play a key role in ensuring our procurement operations run efficiently every day. You'll maintain accurate purchasing records, assist with supplier communication, and support internal teams by resolving queries and keeping processes on track.
If you're organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role is a great opportunity to contribute to a well-functioning procurement team.
What you'll be doing:
- Be the first point of contact for Sales & Operations teams, handling purchasing queries promptly.
- Keep the Purchasing Best Practice pages updated on the Elior Extranet.
- Manage key purchasing admin tasks, including supplier nominations, queries, complaints, and site mobilisations/closures.
- Work with the buying team to ensure suppliers meet contracts and compliance standards.
- Track contract renewals, maintain supplier accreditations, and ensure Code of Conduct adherence.
- Coordinate procurement updates, such as purchasing bulletins, product recalls, and supplier news.
- Support purchasing projects and process improvements for greater efficiency.
What can you bring?
- Experience in customer service, admin, or procurement support (preferred but not essential).
- Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and use IT systems (Excel proficiency preferred).
- Team player with initiative and a flexible approach.
