Catering Manager
This role sits within our Education division – catering for students. Taylor Shaw are looking to recruit a Catering Manager/Supervisor to manage our single intake primary school with gorwth potential.
As a Catering Manager/Supervisor you will proactively manage teams on site to deliver an efficient, high-quality service for Elior UK to our customer and clients, as well as be accountable for inducting, training, and supporting colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to cook 140-180 meals using a nutritionally balanced meal plan following Elior menus designed in conjunction with the school. Using predominately fresh ingredients where possible
- Motivating and managing a team a small team of 3 colleagues who will assist in the preperation and delivery of our school meals
- Controlling and managing a budget
- Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence
- Responsible for preparing specialised Medical diets for children where appropriate (detailed specific menus are provided)
- Responsible for product ordering, maintenance of stock levels and being confident of working to agreed budget levels
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 1:30pm / 8:00am - 2:00pm, term time only

- Previous experience within catering is essential
- Minimum of a Level 2 Food Safety certificate
- A full DBS check will be required
