Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our growing team here at Gamma. The purpose of the project manager is to support and underpin programmes and workstreams that align with the organisational and departmental strategic goals.
This role involves leading key initiatives, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively. The project manager coordinates resources, manages timelines and costs, and mitigates risks to deliver successful outcomes. By fostering collaboration and maintaining clear communication, they ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and that the projects contribution to the overall strategic objectives of Gamma.
What will you be doing day-to-day?
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, define scope, and set milestones. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources effectively, coordinating with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
- Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for project teams and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and any deviations from the plan.
- Project Governance: Develop and maintain project governance frameworks to ensure compliance and effective project management.
- Development Coordination: Coordinate development activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Benefits Realisation and KPIs: Help realize project benefits and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
- Automation and Digitalisation: Implement automation tools and drive digitalization initiatives to streamline processes and improve productivity.
What You’ll Need
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Demonstrable experience in leading teams and managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
- Ability to motivate and guide team members towards achieving project goals.
- Relationship Building & Communication skills:
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships at all levels within the organization.
- Effective communication with stakeholders across various business functions, from executive committees (ExCo) to team level.
- Agile Frameworks and Methodologies:
- In-depth knowledge of agile frameworks, practices, and methodologies such as AgilePM, Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
- Understanding when and where to apply these methodologies to optimize project outcomes.
- Experience in practicing transparency principles to ensure work is understood externally.
- Agile Tools Proficiency:
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence is advantageous.
- Ability to leverage these tools for project tracking, collaboration, and documentation.
- Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as Prince2 Agile, AgilePM, Scrum, or equivalent.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry best practices.
- Telecoms and Tech Industry Knowledge:
- Understanding of the telecoms and tech industry, including current trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge and/or experience of Gamma products/services.
- Experience managing projects related to network infrastructure, telecoms deployment, software development, or technology deployments.
- Project Management:
- Proven record in successfully managing projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies – Essential

- Ability to navigate internal processes and manage resources effectively within the company.
