Gamma is a leading supplier of Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS): we provide voice, data and mobile products and services to the UK, German, Spanish and Benelux business markets.

Gamma is expanding its UCaaS presence in Europe with a family of businesses focusing on digital automation, delivering Gamma-powered services to SME customers via a network of channel partners in Germany, Spain, and the Benelux region.

What will you be doing day-to-day? 📞

Contributing to the growth of Gamma’s Public Sector unit – growing our presence and client opportunities.

You will be able to secure new business names within the Public Sector, demonstrating expertise of the sales cycle and public sector buying process with good knowledge of frameworks etc.  This is vital for success in this role.

  • Work with multiple levels of employee– including Executives, Managers and Operational contacts to consistently drive revenue growth and demonstrate the understanding of driving consensus throughout a large buying group
  • Build relationships at multiple layers within each prospect – understanding prospect types as well as key organisational roles
  • Ensure all activities and information are logged onto Gamma systems
  • Learn the sales methodologies used by Gamma to accurately qualify opportunities and build pipeline, pursuing sales opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Maintain and manage internal and external relationships as required to effectively meet the requirements of the role, including exhibitions and events as required.
  • Learn the “Why” Gamma story and become proficient at presenting this to your peers and prospects
  • Master an intimate knowledge and understanding of the prospect's buying process, their industry and their business, and ensuring this is reflected in deal forecasting and progression
  • Maintain an awareness of the prevailing UK market conditions and competitive landscape and exploit any opportunities arising from this knowledge
  • Represent the Gamma brand through an ability to communicate in a business-like manner
  • Be an active and positive member of the Gamma Direct sales team, contributing to ideas, projects and areas for improvement e.g. product, system or process
  • Undertake regular training and coaching sessions as and when required

What you’ll need 🚀

  • 3+ years’ sales experience in a target carrying capacity. Demonstratable history of exceeding targets in a UCaaS, CCaas, or networking managed services provider
  • Good knowledge of “how public sector works” and procurement routes
  • Capability of understanding customer pain points and requirements
  • Customer orientated with an organised and logical approach to fulfilling requirements
  • Ability to take ownership of issues and to resolve them promptly and efficiently
  • Capability to passionately deliver a value-based solutions pitch. Ability to develop negotiation skills
  • Working knowledge of how to read and analyse financial statements - profit and loss and understanding of ROI models
  • Ability to run multiple opportunities in different stages of the sales process while maintaining a level of prospecting to ensure a healthy ongoing pipeline
