Paid Search Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Paid Search Manager to join the team here at Nisbets!

The main aspect of this role will be to support the Head of Paid Search in the management, optimisation and delivery of activity across the Nisbets group Google Ads accounts.

The perfect candidate will be able to use their knowledge and experience of managing paid search activity to then look at and be responsible for the budgeted spend and revenue targets. Second to this they will also be responsible for reporting results with clear insights into data and spotting industry wide trends to enable us to run best in class paid search campaigns.

Key Accountabilities

  • To monitor and report on agreed KPI’s per market – daily, weekly and monthly to the Head of Paid Search.
  • Identify patterns in customer behavior and communicate these insights so that appropriate action can be taken.
  • Lead paid search accounts across multiple geographies focusing on optimisation towards ROAS but with a view on CAC and CLTV
  • Is able to collaborate with cross functional teams in order to execute strategies for success, including but not limited to landing page optimisation, creative testing and copy enhancement.
  • Strong data management skills in order to review performance, attribution, audiences and more to make informed decisions on optimisations.
  • To manage a Paid Search Executive, supporting their development and ensuring their performance is aligned to paid search strategy and business values.
  • To create a paid search roadmap for success, aligned to wider departmental budget, outlining key actions to be undertaken.
  • To be adapt with A/B testing to support growth within paid search.

Capabilities, Skills and Experience Required

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience managing a Google Ads accounts either agency or brand side.
  • Experience dealing with large SKU volumes and 6 figure budgets is preferrable but not essential.
  • Have a proven track record as a commercial individual with an acquisition focus, who understands brand and customer.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to ‘sell’ ideas.
  • Ecommerce experience in a Direct to consumer or business to business space is essential.
  • Experience managing a direct report is preferrable.
  • Some experience in paid social is a bonus.
  • A second language (ideally French) is desirable but not essential.
