We are seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our dynamic team, This role is currently a Fixed Term Contract for 12 Months.
In this role, you will collaborate with product and category teams to ensure accurate forecasting for our products, maintaining optimum stock levels and availability targets. You will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory, managing stock health, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The role will have hybrid working, consisting of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
Key Accountabilities
- Using our Demand Planning software to Improve forecast accuracy and maintain appropriate safety stock levels.
- Forecast Management: Reviewing and maintaining forecasts for new lines and promotions.
- Stock Health: Focusing on underperforming lines and manage unusual demand patterns.
- Collaboration: Work with Category Management on inventory metrics, OTIF, and end-of-life planning.
- Order Management: Calculate supplier orders and maintain orderbook accuracy.
- Continuous Improvement: Support initiatives to drive efficiency.
- Inbox Management: Handle shared inboxes effectively.
- Reporting: Produce accurate purchase order information and maintain communication structures.
Capabilities, Skills, and Experience Required
- Experience in demand planning and forecasting within fast-moving multi-SKU environments.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with reporting software (e.g., Power BI) is desirable.
- Good understanding of ERP systems for inventory control.
- Knowledge of long supply chains and management techniques.
