We now have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Allocator to join our High Street Merchandising team at our Support Centre in Swindon.
The role of a Stock Allocator is to allocate the right stock, to the right location, in a timely manner within agreed timescales to deliver optimal availability, sales and profit.
What you will be doing:
- Calculation and creation of orders
- Tracking and maintaining availability at SKU/store level, promotional availability at the Distribution Centre
- Supplier forecasting
- Supplier liaison, including resolving/escalating issues
- Management of stock intake to achieve month end targets as well as availability and fulfilment targets
- Distribution Centre communication & relationship management
- Liaise with Stores for all stock related enquiries
What we are looking for:
- Similar experience in a logistics/supply chain role would be highly beneficial, or experience of working in store retail
- Strong numerical skills with the ability to analyse large amounts of numerical data
- Excellent admin and organisational ability and strong attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate problem solving skills, time management and prioritisation
