About the Role...
We are excited to offer an opportunity for Nurse Practitioners and Urgent Care Practitioners to join our dedicated team based at Staffordshire House.
As a Nurse Practitioner / Urgent Care Practitioner, you will be pivotal in providing high-quality, patient-centred care. In collaboration with a GP or Advanced Practitioner, you will conduct assessments to address a wide range of health and clinical needs.
Your Day to Day...
Your role will primarily focus on delivering efficient and compassionate patient care. As part of your responsibilities, you will:
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, operating within your defined scope of practice and with the support of a GP or Advanced Practitioner
- Conduct assessments for patients with a range of health conditions and clinical needs
- Use your clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer, or discharge patients, always working within your competence
Qualifications, Experience & Training
To be successful, you will need:
- A registered Nurse or Paramedic qualification (First Level Nurse or equivalent healthcare professional)
- A clinical examination qualification
- Evidence of continuous professional development relevant to the role of a non-medical practitioner
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills, supported by evidence-based practice
- The ability to process large volumes of information quickly and communicate clearly
