We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Front of House Officer to safeguard a prominent facility in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a clean and professional environment, and maintaining a high level of security. You will possess a robust background in the security sector, demonstrate proficiency in IT systems, excel in multitasking, and maintain a professional and polished demeanour alongside excellent personal presentation.
Excellent communication skills are essential. Within this role, you will carry out ID checks, respond to emergencies and provide information to all staff and visitors as and when necessary.

Main Duties: 

  1. Control Access and Egress to the building occupiers, and direct any of the public.
  2. Aid where needed or instructed.
  3. Alert the Control room of any potential or actual incidents.
  4. Lockdown the building - refer to the Ward Security Limited Dynamic Lockdown SOP in the procedures file.
  5. Ensure that the main entrance control point and the speed lanes are covered at all times..
  6. Be aware of protest and demonstration procedures and respond as required.
  7. Proactive assistance to Tenant staff, guests, and contractors, passing information, giving directions, or responding to any queries in a professional manner.
  8. To make yourself fully conversant with the assignment instructions, post instructions and any locally issued procedural updates.
  9. To ensure that client confidentiality always respected, in relation to any client media (written, visual, electronic, or oral).
  10. The reporting and initial response to any Security or Health and Safety policy violations or potential violations, including making line management aware as soon as is possible.
  11. Reporting immediately to the Security Supervisor any action or inaction which compromises safety.
  12. Maintain a clean and safe place of work, ensuring all posts are always clean and tidy.
  13. Report missing, damaged or unserviceable equipment to the Security Supervisor.
  14. Always display your SIA licence whilst on duty.
  15. Make enquiries and submit reports on incidents as instructed by the Building Management Team, Security Manager or Security Supervisor.
  16. Cover the Reception desk between 1700-2000hrs
  17. Cover any additional requirements which you have been request to cover.
  18. Conduct visual patrols of the common areas and patrol the stairwells

 

Must haves: 

  • Valid Frontline SIA license. 

  • Minimum 1 year of proven work experience as a Corporate FOH Security Officer. 

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills. 

  • Exemplary standards of personal presentation. 

  • IT literate with the ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment. 

  • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills. 

  • Positive attitude towards people and challenges.
