We’re looking for a dynamic Front of House Officer to represent our client at their prestigious premises in St Mary Axe, London, the site is conveniently situated near excellent transport links, including Liverpool Street, Aldgate, and Bank stations, making your commute easy and accessible.


The successful candidate will bring outstanding customer service and communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in fast-paced situations. You will demonstrate attention to detail, handle challenging situations with ease, and ensure all visitors and staff have a seamless and positive experience while maintaining the smooth operation of the reception area. Your commitment to delivering an exceptional service will ensure a welcoming, efficient, and professional environment at all times.

 

Position: Front of House Officer

Pay rate: £14.55 per hour 

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - Day Shift 7:00am -7:00pm

Location: 63 St Mary Axe, London EC3A 8AA

Duties: 

  • Act as a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors.
  • Ensure all visitors and other callers to the company are given sufficient information by giving clear, concise information in person and over the phone or email.
  • Report any issues to the supervisor or duty manager
  • Always conduct yourself in a professional manner
  • Respond to emergencies
  • Deal with conflict in an appropriate manner if required
  • Write up incidents to the standard expected by Management
  • Carry out ID checks
  • Be vigilant to the Health and Safety risks
  • Work on own initiative 
  • Ensures that the reception area, foyer, staff area, and board room are kept clean by supervising cleaning staff members.

 

Must have: 

  • Valid SIA licence
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front of the House Officer, or similar role (min 1year)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills
  • A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges
  • 5-year checkable work history
  • IT literate- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
