Patrol Officer- Cannon Place
Ward Security is seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Patrol Officer to join our team based at our client’s premises at 78 Cannon Place-business centre located next to Cannon Street, and a three-minute walk from Mansion House, Bank and Monument stations, providing easy access to the London Underground.
The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors.

Role: Patrol Officer
Pay rate: £13.92 per hour
Shift Pattern: 7/3 7/4 Days/Nights 56h per week
Location: 78 Cannon Place London EC4N 6HL
Role Requirements: Valid SIA licence

Main Duties:
- Proactively patrol assigned areas, identifying and addressing potential security risks
- Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry, restraining trespassers
- Complete daily reports, including relevant information, observations, surveillance footage, and signatures- Report any issues to the supervisor or duty manager.
- Investigate and take the appropriate lawfully action as authorized by the corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety and fire incidents
- Interact with clients and visitors, providing assistance and fostering positive relationships
- Respond to incidents and emergencies with professionalism and efficiency
- Contribute to a culture of safety and security
- Enforce company policies and procedures
Must have:
- Valid SIA licence
- 1 year of experience in security or a related field
- A positive attitude to dealing with people and taking on challenges
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- IT literate- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
