BREWERY engineer

MULTI SKILLED

We currently have an opportunity for a Brewery Engineer on a permanent contract. The successful candidate will join our Brewery Engineering team in Middleton, where we produce classic British Brands alongside authentic Japanese sushi seasonings and vinegar. The role will have a strong focus on safety, asset reliability and regulatory compliance

The ideal candidate will be;

• An experienced, time served Maintenance Engineer
• Is comfortable working in a regulated environment and the complying with the procedural processes this involves
• Experienced in carrying out planned preventative maintenance activity, identifying corrective maintenance required and carrying out this activity
• Has an ability to work autonomously and prioritise your own workload will be essential
• Is familiar with Lean Manufacturing concepts would be advantageous with 5S, Root cause analysis and continuous Improvement a part of our standard work tools
• Computer systems are integral to our daily routine, and we use Computer Maintenance Management system to record and prioritise work along with purchasing systems, Scada measuring and monitoring systems and Microsoft office suite
• Upholds the two Mizkan principles of offering customers only the finest quality products and continuously challenges the status quo

Shifts:
A three-week rotation of 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm / nightshift

Salary: £43,410.76 + 24.3% shift allowance
