Who Are We Looking For? 👀
We're on the lookout for a Senior Finance Assistant to support in all aspects of Finance and the related systems to ensure the efficient operation of the Finance Department. Responsibilities include journal posting, account reconciliations, invoicing, and bank monitoring. This role offers the opportunity to drive significant change in streamlining processes and improving data accuracy, supporting enhanced analysis and business insight.
What Will You Be Doing Day-to-Day? ✨
- Carry out day to day/ weekly financial tasks, daily reconciliations for Bank, raising credit notes, refunds, journal entries.
- Credit control. Be responsible for customer payments in a timely manner
Banking + cashflow monitoring - Supporting the month-end cycle ensuring that all designated tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Management of direct debit process
- Commission calculations
What You’ll Need 💻
- Financial analysis and reconciliation skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet multiple deadlines
- Positive attitude
- Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues, with equal ability to work independently where required
- Excellent customer service skills and strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 5 Years Experience working within a Finance Team with good understanding of bookkeeping
- AAT qualification
- IT Literacy, including Excel
- Experience of Sage 50
- Due to location of office, recommended to be a driver
