Gamma is expanding its UCaaS presence in Europe with a family of businesses focusing on digital automation, delivering Gamma-powered services to SME customers via a network of channel partners in Germany, Spain, and the Benelux region.
Who are we looking for? 👀
We are seeking an experienced People Business Partner to join the Gamma People team. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our talent and engagement strategies, working closely with the works council to ensure alignment with our culture and values. You will also take ownership of budget and financial activities related to HR, manage employee relations, and collaborate with our Centers of Excellence (COEs) on strategic people initiatives. What will you be doing day-to-day? ✨

As a People Business Partner you are responsible for direct people partnering with the sales & operations (commercial) teams in Germany and their management teams.

You ensure an engaged organization and act as an ambassador for the Gamma culture and values.

You maintain high levels of positive employee experience for the employees in Germany by acting as coach and trusted adviser to local management teams and employees.

You provide advice and executional support to the Group Functional Business Partners.

You are implementing policies and projects with regards to People Services, Recruitment, Talent/ Learning and Reward with full support from the central team of specialists (COE’s).

You personally engage in Recruitment and Employer Branding activities for and within Germany.

You establish and maintain trusted partnership with the works councils in all German locations.
What you’ll need 💻

Academic or bachelor’s degree level of education and thinking required in Human Resources or Business Administration.

5+ years of experience as a People Business Partner acting on an operational and strategical level and with a strong preference for having some transformational experience.

Capable of seamlessly transitioning between strategic thinking and hands-on execution and being able to promptly deliver solid advice.

Knowledge and insight into organisational development change processes.

Experience in German Labor law and working in a works council environment.

Adapt easily to different settings and cultures within the organization.

Act as an innovative and creative professional.

An open, agile mind and always thinking in solutions.

Empathetic personality with persuasiveness and decisiveness.

Excellent communication skills and fluent English and German language capabilities.
A few things to note
- This is a hybrid role with flexibility – our team comes together in our offices (Oberkotzau, Cologne) as well as ensure they are connected when at home.
- We do not need agency support; we do all our recruitment in house.
- Unfortunately, we can't offer visa sponsorship or relocation support for this role.
